In the end

It starts with one thing, I don’t know why
it doesn’t even mather how hard you try.
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
to explain in due time all I know.

Time is a valuable thing,
watch it fly by as the pendulum swings,
watch it count down till the end of the day.
Clock ticks life away.

It’s so unreal. You didn’t look out below,
watch the time go right out the window.
Trying to hold on, but didn’t even know,
I wasted it all just to watch you go.

I kept everything inside
and even though I tried, it all fell apart.
What it meant to me will eventually be
a memory of a time when

I tried so hard and got so far,
but in the end it doesn’t even matter.
I had to fall, to loose it all...
but in the end it doesn’t even matter.

One thing, I dont know why
it doesn’t even mather how hard you try.
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
to remind myself how I tried so hard.

Despite the way you were mocking me
acting like I was part of your property.
Remembering all the times you fought with me,
I’m surprised it got so far.

Things aren’t the way they were before,
you wouldn’t even recognize me anymore,
not that you knew me back then,
but it all comes back to me in the end.

You kept everything inside
And even though I tried, it all fell apart.
What it meant to me will eventually be
a memory of a time when

I tried so hard and got so far,
but in the end, it doesn’t even matter.
I had to fall, to loose it all
but in the end, it doesnt even matter.

I’ve put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
And for all this
There’s only one thing you should know

I tried so hard and got so far,
but in the end it doesn’t even matter.
I had to fall, to loose it all,
but in the end it doesn’t even matter.

No sé si te he contado

Nunca he querido a nadie tan despacio.
No sé si te lo he contado.

The smell of your skin lingers on me now.
You're probably on your flight back to your home town.
I need some shelter of my own protection, baby,
to be with myself and center.
Clarity, Peace, Serenity.

I hope you know, I hope you know
that this has nothing to do with you.
It's personal, myself and I,
we've got some straightenin' out to do.
And I'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket,
but I've got to get a move on with my life.
It's time to be a big girl now,
and big girls don't cry.

The path that I'm walking I must go alone,
I must take the baby steps 'til I'm full grown, full grown.
Fairytales don't always have a happy ending, do they?
And I foresee the dark ahead if I stay.

Like the little school mate in the school yard,
We'll play jacks and Uno cards.
I'll be your best friend and you'll be my Valentine.
Yes, you can hold my hand if you want to,
'cause I want to hold yours too.
We'll be playmates and lovers and share our secret worlds,
but it's time for me to go home.
It's getting late, dark outside.
I need to be with myself and center.
